Paul Estridge, Jr.

Paul Estridge, Jr. has been in the home building business in the Indianapolis area his entire life, having come from a family of homebuilders. In 1967, Paul’s father founded Paul E. Estridge Corporation, a home builder known for their high quality custom homes. In 1983, Paul Jr. started his own home building company, The Estridge Group.

The mission of The Estridge Group was to build quality homes in neighborhoods designed for families. In 1993, Paul Jr. bought his father’s original company and today he is President and Chief Servant of The Estridge Companies, which includes Paul E. Estridge Corporation, Estridge Custom Homes, Estridge Collections (formerly The Estridge Group), Lockerbie Townhomes by Estridge, Ameritage Homes, Estridge Development Company and Estridge Real Estate. Paul is also the founder of FirstMile Technologies, a provider of voice, video and data services to new home residential communities and FirstSource Capital, a mortgage company. In 2005, in order to further serve the needs of Estridge homeowners and others, Paul founded HOMExperience, a home furnishings retail store located in the Clay Terrace Lifestyle Center in Carmel, Indiana.

Paul is an active member of the Indianapolis community. He is currently a board member of The Oaks Academy, the Fathers & Families Center and the Legacy Fund. In the past he has served on the board of Pleasant Run Children’s Foundation and on the St. Vincent’s Hospital Advisory Board. Paul is a member of Grace Community Church and a supporter of Young Life.

In March 2009, Paul and The Estridge Companies led ABC-TV’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition project for a deserving family in Indianapolis. While a single father and his three sons were the recipients of the new home, the entire Martindale-Brightwood neighborhood was transformed by the project due to Estridge’s insistence that the project be larger than just one home. Over 20 homes in the neighborhood were reroofed, resided and/or repainted and many others received landscape improvements. Five miles of alleys were redressed and 1,200 trees were planted along six miles of streets in the neighborhood. A FAN, Free Access Neighborhood was created, connecting 450 homes and businesses to the Internet and an abandoned school was secured to be converted to a community center for the neighborhood.

Paul is a member of the Builders’ Association of Greater Indianapolis (which voted him “Builder of the Year” in 1989). Paul has been awarded the “Entrepreneur of the Year Award” by Inc. Magazine and Indianapolis Business Journal selected him for their “40 Under 40” designation. The Estridge Companies is a past winner of the National Housing Quality Award, as sponsored by the National Association of Homebuilders’ NAHB Research Council and Professional Builder magazine. Most recently, Estridge Companies was named a “Best Place to Work in Indiana” by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce in 2007, 2008 and 2009.

Paul was born September 25, 1957. He grew up in Carmel, Indiana and was active in athletics.
