Daniel Sepulveda

Daniel Sepulveda was drafted in the fourth round by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2007 NFL Draft. As “Pittsburgh’s punter,” Daniel enjoys playing football to the best of his abilities and speaking to groups about how God has shaped his life. He was the 2007 Steelers’ rookie of the year.

Daniel was an All-American football player at Baylor University. He was a walk-on to the football team as a linebacker, and after a redshirt freshman season (despite not having punted since junior high) became the Bears’ starting punter, earning a scholarship after the 2003 season. He won the Ray Guy Award in 2004 and 2006 as well as being a three-time All American team member (3rd in 2004, 2nd in 2005, 1st in 2006). He is the only punter in NCAA history to win the Ray Guy Award twice.

Daniel Sepulveda was on the Super Bowl winning Pittsburgh Steelers team of 2008, and is headed to Dallas with the Steelers for Super Bowl XLV.
